Wire Threading Procedure

CAUTION:
Safety toe shoes and proper eye protection must be used during the wire threading operation.

1. Install one (1) roll of wire in each box holder.
   1. Insert the entire box into the wire box holder.
   2. Remove the cardboard knockout from the side of the box.
   3. Cut the tie wraps on the coil of wire.
   4. Feed the wire to the next position.
   
2. Feed the wire through the ceramic bushing.
3. Feed the wire through the wire tensioner as depicted in the picture above.
   1. If the wire tension is too great one of the rollers may be removed.
4. After the wire tensioner, the wire passes through a hold in the baler frame on the tier side and through a wire guide on the off tier side.
   
5. Thread the wire through the wire guide. The wire goes between the support bar and the roller as depicted above.
   
6. Tie the end of the wire to the wire of the last tied bale. If the wire is missing on the last tied bale, then tie the wire to the vertical bar provided.
   1. On the tier side, make sure you run the wire between the vertical post and the baler side sheet.
